PS3/Xbox 360『FIFA 09』で夢のチームを作れる新モードが!!
エレクトロニック・アーツは、2008年11月に発売した『FIFA 09 ワールドクラス サッカー』のPS3版とXbox 360版に、新モード“FIFA 09 ULTIMATE TEAM（仮）”を提供すると明らかにした。
“FIFA 09 ULTIMATE TEAM（仮）”は、プレイヤー自身がサッカー選手を集結させてドリームチームを作り、オンラインで多数のプレイヤーと対戦できるもの。プレイヤー、スタッフ、契約、フォーメーション、戦略などが金・銀・銅のバーチャルカードを模しており、それらを集めながらチームを構築していく。ゲームプレイカードを試合中に使うといった、駆け引きの要素も用意されている。
このモードは有料で、海外では3月19日より配信される予定。ただし購入前に、バーチャルカードと限定5試合のトライアルを体験できる。なお、日本国内での配信については現時点で未定。今後の続報に期待しよう。
