【App通信】iPad販売開始！ スクエニ、KONAMI、バンナムなどが続々とアプリ配信

iPhone/iPod touchやiPadに関連するトピックをお届けするコーナー“App通信”。今週は、5月28日に日本国内での販売がスタートしたiPad発売セレモニーの模様をレポート。
また、カプコン、KONAMI、ゲームロフト、コーエーテクモゲームス、スクウェア・エニックス、ハドソン、バンダイナムコゲームスから配信中およびこれから配信予定の、iPad用アプリの情報もお届けする。
●「人生が変わります」――iPad発売セレモニーに孫社長が登場
5月28日、東京・表参道のソフトバンクショップにおいて、アップルの新型デバイス・iPadの発売を記念したセレモニーが開催された。
iPadは、4月に米国で発売されたタブレット型端末。同社によると、米国ではiPhoneを上回るペースで販売台数を伸ばしており、発売から28日目で100万台以上を販売したという。日本市場では、電子書籍端末としての利用など、PCやスマートフォンとは異なる新たな市場を開拓できると注目が集まっている。

日本国内の発売日である5月28日、都内のソフトバンクショップ表参道店で発売セレモニーが開催され、ソフトバンク代表取締役社長・孫正義氏やファッション誌などで活躍するモデルの藤井リナさんが出席した。セレモニーであいさつに立った孫社長は、「iPadを持つと人生が変わります。お気に入りのアプリは全部です！」とiPadへの思いを熱弁。オススメするiPadの活用方法は、TwitterやUstreamでの動画配信とのことで、「スピーカーの性能がよくなっているので、ぜひ音楽を聴いてほしい」とも話していた。
孫社長のあいさつが終わると、発売へのカウントダウンがスタート。販売開始時間の8：00を迎えると、ソフトバンクショップを覆っていた幕が下ろされ、iPad一色に飾られたソフトバンクショップ表参道店がオープンした。開店後は、列の先頭に並んだ男性に、藤井リナさんからiPadが手渡されていた。
